• Billey Albina, Master of Social Work Candidate

    Hi, I’m Billey (She/Her)!

You might be feeling anxious, stressed, or stuck in patterns that leave you feeling disconnected—from yourself or from the people you care about most. Maybe intimacy feels distant, or you’re caught in cycles of codependency, self-doubt, or worry about the future. Whatever you’re navigating, you’re not alone—your experience matters, and there is a path forward.

As an intern therapist specializing in relationship therapy, intimacy challenges, and identity exploration, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly seen and understood. My relational approach means the therapeutic relationship itself becomes part of the healing—grounded in respect, attunement, and authenticity. I help clients develop a deeper awareness of their inner world, build emotional resilience, and create healthier patterns in love, intimacy, and self-connection.

In our work together, you can expect practical tools for staying grounded, setting boundaries, and feeling safer in your own body and relationships. Over time, you may notice a quieter mind, greater self-acceptance, and more authentic, fulfilling connections—with others and with yourself.

If you’re ready to begin that process, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.

Billey sees clients virtually and in-person at our downtown office space.

    Professional Background

My path to psychotherapy began with over a decade of supporting people as a librarian—helping individuals through challenges, questions, and moments of personal growth. This work inspired me to pursue social work, where I’ve supported clients navigating dementia care, mental health concerns, and recovery from family patterns shaped by addiction.

I’m currently completing my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Toronto and training in person-centred psychotherapy rooted in mindfulness, somatic awareness, and compassion. I also hold a Master’s in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor’s in Fine Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

I work with individuals, couples, and families on challenges including relationship dynamics, anxiety, sexual concerns, performance anxiety, life transitions, and identity exploration. My goal is always to meet you with warmth, openness, and deep respect for your unique story.

Billey practices under the direct clinical supervision of Camila Espana and offers a limited number of reduced-rate spots through New Moon Psychotherapy’s Affordable Therapy Program.

Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know.
