    Same-Day, Single-Session Therapy

Quick Support for When You Need Clarity – Not a Commitment

Sometimes, you don’t need a deep dive or a long-term therapy plan. You just need to talk to someone today — someone who gets it, who can help you zoom in on what matters, and support you in taking that next step forward.

That’s exactly what this is for.

Our same-day, solution-focused, single-session therapy offers timely support for a specific concern — no waitlist, no commitment, just real help, right now.

⚠️ This is not a crisis service. If you’re in immediate danger or need urgent mental health support, please call a crisis line or go to the nearest emergency department.

What Can Single Session Therapy Help With?

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is the approach used by our single session therapists. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is ideal for moments when you’re stuck, overwhelmed, or navigating something important — and just need a clear conversation to get unstuck.

This virtual-only service is available for same-day booking — or later in the week if you prefer.

What to Expect from Single-Session Therapy

During your 60-minute session, you’ll spend 45-50 minutes directly with your therapist. The remaining 10-15 minutes are allocated for preparation, note-taking, and managing your client file.

Given the approach of solution-focused brief therapy, your therapist may spend up to 10 minutes off-screen consulting or strategizing about your treatment during the session.

    Session Overview:

    • Introduction: You’ll begin by discussing your difficulties, current focus, and goals.

    • Therapeutic Approach: Your therapist will employ solution-focused brief therapy, emphasizing collaborative problem-solving.

    • Interactive Approach: You’re encouraged to ask questions and seek information throughout the session.

    Benefits:

This isn’t just about venting — it’s a targeted, collaborative space to help you move forward with greater clarity and intention.

    Together, you’ll:

    • Identify and clarify the core issue you want to address.

    • Gain insight, perspective, and a clear direction forward.

    • Explore practical tools and strategies to implement immediately.

    • Leave with renewed focus and confidence.

    Next Steps:

Some clients find that one session is sufficient, while others choose to continue. If it feels beneficial, your therapist can suggest further steps — with no pressure to commit.

If we determine that a single session may not fully address your concerns, we’ll provide guidance and connect you with appropriate support.
