You may have experienced events in your life that have deeply harmed you emotionally, physically, or mentally. Perhaps you grew up not knowing what it’s like to feel safe being who you are. These experiences may have left you in emotional turmoil or numb and disconnected. Maybe you blame yourself for what happened. The feelings you are left with may be conflicting and seem uncontrollable.
Trauma’s impact on our lives can be overwhelming and confusing. It’s hard to start the path to healing.
