    Hello, I’m Mary and my pronouns are She/Her!

    I am a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I have completed both a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) at York University, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

    I am passionate and dedicated towards providing my clients with the most up to date care, based on thoroughly researched therapeutic modalities. I believe in taking an empathetic approach to help empower individuals and remind them that they are not alone in their journey.

    I have been working in the field of addictions for approximately five years, mainly within inpatient facilities, providing customized one on one counselling, crisis management, and group counselling sessions that consist of psychoeducation, and skills and process groups. Additionally, I have experience working one on one with diverse client populations, experiencing a wide of range of hardship and suffering.

    As your therapist, I believe in providing a warm and accepting environment that will foster a safe space for meaningful connection and genuine change. I want you to know that rainy days are an inevitable part of life, and although I will not be able to take these away, I will certainly help provide the tools to make them bearable.
