Hello – I’m Dylan and my pronouns are they/them.
Dylan is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. They have been practicing psychotherapy since 2023 in community and private practice settings.
Dylan is passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, sexual abuse, assault, and violence – they understand the profound and lasting impact these experiences can have on a person’s sense of self, relationships, and overall well-being. Dylan works with clients to process and heal from these wounds, addressing issues such as trust, safety, emotional regulation, and self-worth. They take a trauma-informed approach to therapy, incorporating evidence-based interventions to help clients regain a sense of agency, process complex emotions, and build resilience in their healing journey.
Dylan specializes in trauma processing, including PTSD, CPTSD, and dissociative disorders (DID). They understand the complex ways trauma affects the mind and body, often leading to patterns of dissociation, emotional dysregulation, and difficulties in relationships. Using a trauma-informed approach, Dylan helps clients process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and work toward a greater sense of safety and stability in their lives.
In addition to trauma work, Dylan provides sex therapy and works extensively with queer and trans individuals. They support clients navigating gender dysphoria, the transition process, and the challenges that can arise in relationships and identity development. Dylan is committed to creating an affirming space where clients can explore their experiences with gender, sexuality, and intimacy in a way that feels safe, validating, and empowering. Additionally, Dylan offers therapeutic support for individuals experiencing borderline personality disorder (BPD) and bipolar disorder.
Dylan recognizes that healing is deeply personal and that each individual’s journey is unique. They tailor their approach to meet the specific needs of their clients, fostering a therapeutic space that is affirming, compassionate, and trauma-informed.
Dylan offers therapy in English, Ukranian, and Russian.
They are currently accepting clients for virtual and in-person appointments at 130 Spadina in Toronto.
