Master's Level Psychotherapy Internship

New Moon Psychotherapy is a busy Psychotherapy practice located in the heart of the Fashion District in Toronto (Spadina and Richmond).
We focus on using evidence based treatments and specialize in trauma, relationship, and sex therapy.

An internship at New Moon Psychotherapy is an immersion into trauma treatment. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply evidence-based modalities to treat teens and adults experiencing difficulties related to trauma/PTSD, relationship difficulties, sexual dysfunctions, and mood and anxiety problems.
- ~ Weekly Supervision with a CRPO approved supervisor
- ~ Training in Cognitive Processing Therapy and weekly consultation,
- ~ Monthly team consultation meetings,
- ~ Peer support,
- ~ Lunch and Learns.
There is an extensive focus on the treatment of trauma, if you are a Yorkville University student, you will need to request permission to complete a trauma focused internship.

Application deadlines are 3 months prior to practicum start. Applications submitted after the below dates will not be considered.
