    Healing from trauma and dissociation involves anchoring yourself in the present moment.

    Do you sometimes feel spacey, foggy, or fuzzy?

    Are you preoccupied with negative images, feelings, or thoughts from the past or worries about the future?

    This two hour virtual workshop will help you:

     better understand dissociation and why we experience it

     increase your awareness of how dissociation might be showing up in your daily life

     stay grounded and present when faced with triggers

     learn and practice various strategies to prevent and/or help you come out of dissociation.

    You will walk away from this workshop with a personalized plan for managing your dissociation and practical tools that help you and your nervous system feel safe in the present moment.

    About the facilitator

    Shanen (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist practicing virtually in Ontario, Canada.  In her work, she strives to go beyond traditional talk therapy and is committed to helping people find safety and calm in their bodies again.

    Shanen specializes in trauma-informed and integrative approaches with a special interest in body-focused modalities.
